The Pearl of the West

Perla Zachodu (The Pearl of the West) was completed on 8 April 1950, in the place of the former Turmsteinbaud inn built in 1927. It is situated 320 meters above the sea level, perched on a steep, precipitous bank.

The surrounding area is rich in tourist attractions, including the historic Knight’s Tower in Siedlecin, built around 1313. In 2008 Perla Zachodu was the winner of the Lower Silesia Pearl in the Crown competition.
